Routh Crabtree Olsen, PS., an industry leading specialty law firm, is currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to the Judicial Foreclosures (Washington is NON Judicial) department for our Bellevue office! 

Routh Crabtree Olsen specializes in the representation of financial institutions, substantial investors, title insurers, housing authorities and select businesses in all matters related to licensing, servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, special credits, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans. (AND they are they are owned by the same people who own Northwest Trustee Services, Inc., who are LEGALLY BOUND TO BE IMPARTIAL TO THE DESIRES OF BOTH THE BORROWER AND THE LENDER IN A FORECLOSURE ACTION, I'll leave it to you to decide if this is even possible given their benefactors PROFIT FROM FORECLOSURE SALES.)

Position Summary:
As the Legal Assistant, this person is responsible for assisting the Attorney with a high volume caseload and will work often in our vendor related software. 

Responsibilities:
•Intake of new files and file set up 
•Follow up on missing documents and order title 
•Send out notices for recording 
•File motions 
•Other Duties as assigned 

Skills/Experience:
•At least one year of related work experience preferably in a mortgage or legal setting 
•Familiar with file processing and experience working with attorneys 
•Strong communication and organizational skills 
•High level of proficiency with computers and MS Office products 
•Ability to maintain records accurately, and prepare reports 
•Ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively determine appropriate courses of action. 
•Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills 
•Must be highly organized and self motivated
